Reporting to the National Multi Unit Field Sales Manager, The National Multi Unit Account Specialist will provide  field support for key National Multi Unit customers. Primarily serving top hotel brands that require face to face representation, the successful candidates objective is to maximize sales and ensure profitability.


Responsiblities include:

  • Facilitates the flow of all product, category, brand and supplier related information and communication between the Regional / National Merchandising Team and the Divisional Sales and Marketing Teams. 
  • Collaborates with the Regional / National Merchandising Team to maintain appropriate product mix, attain sales, and meet margin goals.
  • Contributes to the planning and execution of product training and development for the District Sales Rep (DSR), through collaboration with the Regional / national Merchandising team, Marketing Manager, Specialist teams, and divisional suppliers/broker partners. 
  • Plans and assists in the personal and professional development of the Product Specialists as it relates to product and supplier and product knowledge.
  • Serves as the primary communication point for the local broker and supplier community. 
  • Drives planning and execution of key strategies and initiatives with internal teams and with the local supplier and broker community in support of Regional / National Merchandising and Divisional goals and objectives.
  • Collaborates on the development, monitoring, and execution of vendor and broker sales and marketing plans.
  • Leads the concept development and drives solutions for divisional marketing materials and sales support materials. 
  • Supports the Marketing Manager with product/vendor related information and strategies specific to the planning and execution of industry, sales and marketing events, divisional sales and marketing meetings, marketing campaigns, and food shows that align with the long range plan and divisional goals. 
  • Understands, requests, and analyzes pertinent reports and resources to drive effective decision-making to provide product expertise.


  • Three to five years previous food service sales and/or marketing related experience with two years previous direct customer interaction and experience
  • In lieu of the specified education and experience requirements, a proven capability to perform the essential functions of the job, as demonstrated by an equivalent
