    Position Summary:


    The Regional Sales Coordinator is responsible for the coordination, administration and support of Regional Multi Unit accounts. Reporting to, and working closely with the RSM, the coordinator ensures Gordon Food Service’s highest quality, service and integrity is delivered to the Regional Multi Unit customers. The Coordinator is expected to provide professional, knowledgeable account support and to contribute to the growth of GFS’s market share in Multi Unit accounts.  


    This is a Maternity Leave contract  running from June 15th, 2018 to Sept 1, 2019.



    • Minimum high school diploma. Ability to perform at a level equivalent to a bachelor degree in Business Administration or other related field. 


    • Three to five years previous business experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.


    Essential Functions (Duties):

    • Manages functional responsibilities pertaining to contract compliance
    • Manages listing and demands of new products and limited time offers
    • Assists in the management of inventory for customer key proprietary items
    • Provides immediate voice and contact point to solve difficult and/or urgent problems.
    • Key contact managing customer relationship, including periodic customer visits.
    • Provides internal and external customer service at local and regional levels
    • Responsible for running and delivery of accurate reporting (e.g. Velocity Reporting)
    • Drives performance metrics
    • Assisting in team development and training


    Essential Physical and Mental Requirements:

    • Experience with Food Service is preferred
    • Must have advanced skills and proficiency with all MSOffice Suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
    • Excellent written and superior verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to understand terms and conditions in customer contracts and agreements.
    • Proven organizational skills and the ability to effectively handle high volumes of work, under pressure with minimum supervision.
