Reporting to the Senior HR Generalist, you will be responsible for the recruitment and onboarding
process, orientation and training, HR reporting and analysis, employee relations, disability claims
management, and ad hoc projects as they arise.

In conjunction with a recruiter, you will oversee the recruiting process including determining
staffing needs, advertising roles, screening and interviewing candidates, and completing offer
Planning and facilitating orientation for all new employees, you will assess and develop training
content, facilitate training sessions, and communicate with new hires for feedback and follow-up
on orientation and training
Track, analyze, and report HR metrics and survey findings
Facilitate the communication of up-to-date details about the Benefits/RSP programs and
respond to inquiries from employees
HR point of contact for any employee relations challenges
Participate and support all company events and cultural initiatives
Manage short and long-term disability claims for employee group including liaising with GFS
management, third party consultants, and WSIB Case Managers, record keeping and reporting,
preparing and submitting objections, and developing safe return to work plans
With a minimum of three years’ experience in a generalist role, you ideally have or are working
toward your CHRP designation
