    Account Manager – Lodge/Camp

    Location:  Delta, British Columbia

    Position Overview

    Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, Multi-Unit, the Account Manager - Lodge/Camp will be responsible for the growth of our current portfolio of lodge/camp business in British Columbia, as well as the creation and implementation of a business plan for new business throughout the province.  We are seeking a driven sales professional with a passion for the lodge/camp industry to grow the current market share in BC.  The Account Manager - Lodge/Camp will be accountable to grow this portfolio through both penetration of existing accounts and new business development within the province.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Pro-actively identify new profitable business opportunities to achieve sales targets within current and brand new lodge/camp customers
    • Create, manage and deliver an annual business development plan
    • Maintain knowledge and be up to date with industry trends, issues and news
    • Work with key personnel to ensure all business opportunities are managed professionally and cross selling opportunities are maximized 
    • This position is also responsible for participating in industry shows, sales meetings and sales promotions
    • A small amount of regional travel will be necessary

    We are looking for a motivated, results-oriented individual.

    • Exceptional conflict resolution, negotiation, and objection handling skills
    • Able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
    • Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
    • Strong presentation skills
    • Ability to implement strategies and key initiatives
    • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to manage and deliver on an annual sales and margin budget
    • Operational experience and understanding to create and drive process
    • Ability to work across all departments and collaborate to deliver both customer satisfaction and efficiencies within the business
    • Computer literate (CRM, Google Applications, Excel)
    • Strong knowledge of the lodge/camp industry
    • Minimum five plus years of work experience in a sales role
