Our Marketing teams support our sales force and our food service customers with digital tools and content, creative ideation and development, distinctive products and brands, and consultative expertise on both business operations and culinary trends.  


    We are looking to onboard a Regional Merchandising Specialist for our Canada National division! This role is a great opportunity for someone with a strong understanding of product sourcing and costing. If you have exceptional communication skills, with the ability to use analytics in creative ways to tell the product story, garner buy-ins, and provide insights to support decision-making, this role is for you!


    What you’ll be doing:


    • Providing support to the National Merchandising Manager in all aspects of category management strategies, key initiatives, and product life-cycle management from initial sourcing and market introduction, to deletion for regional items
    • Collaborating with internal customers, brokers, and vendors to facilitate accurate information sharing
    • Providing insights, analytics and recommendations in the development of strategies, and to achieve volume and margin targets
    • Communicating regularly with divisional sales and marketing teams regarding product issues and price changes
    • Providing problem analysis and resolution to sales and marketing on product related concerns
    • Maintaining knowledge of industry trends and development, cultivating a continuous improvement mindset to drive greater business efficiencies


    Does this sound like you?


    • Bachelor Degree in Business, Economics or Marketing focus preferred
    • Minimum three to five years of product/category knowledge or previous marketing experience preferred as typically obtained through a bachelor’s prepared education or a combination of applicable on-the-job experience and education, or an internship
    • Ability to understand, follow, and create processes in order to complete projects
    • Excellent time-management, administration and organization skills with an apt for attention to detail
    • Ability to use analytics and associated tools (Excel, Access, etc.) in creative ways to aid in information analysis
    • Positive attitude, problem-solver mentality with a willingness to experiment and be creative
